This policy governs all digital assets, services, and infrastructure directly operated under the SKYNET2.net domain, and it's affiliated web services, applications and other services ("the service" or "the services"). Further, this policy works in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of use policy. SKYNET2 branded content hosted on third-party platforms such as YouTube or GitHub is subject to the privacy policies and terms of those platforms. While we strive for consistency across our ecosystem, we do not control how external platforms collect or use your data.
Your continued use of the services is your consent and agreement with both the privacy policy and terms and conditions policy. If you do not consent to either or, you must cease your use of the services.
This policy may be modified or updated at any time, without notice to you. Check this site for any changes on a regular basis.
Umami Analytics is used to better understand how visitors interact with the services. Umami is an open-source analytics tool designed with privacy in mind, and the only tool used across the services. It does not use cookies, does not track users across sites and does not store any personal information. The data collected includes page views, device and browser types, screen resolution, referrer, and the user's approximate geographic location (city level only). This information is aggregated and anonymized, and used strictly for performance optimization and service improvement.
Like most web servers, our infrastructure automatically logs requests for diagnostic and security purposes. This may include your IP address, browser information, request timestamps, and error/debug information. Logs are used solely for system health, troubleshooting and abuse prevention, and are not retained longer than required.
For example, when you create an account on any of the services, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, and any other information you provide during signup. A general breakdown of each of these things we collect are below.

Password changes and administrative actions are system level. Password changes are also automated - but the previous password is not retained. Administrator actions are also not retained more than 90 days, if at all.
The information that is collected about your use of the services is for the following purposes:
- Creating User Account
- Enforcement of the privacy policy and terms and conditions of use
- Administration of user accounts and site usage
- User-to-User communication, posts, and other messages
- Site and platform protection
- User support
If you create or upload content (such as documents, database entries, or media) under your account, that content will remain stored until you delete it or request deletion. Backups may temporarily contain residual data.
Should your information need to be used for any other prupose, your consent, prior to use, will be requested. If no consent is given, your information will not be used for those purposes. Should consent be granted, your information will only be used for the purpose given during notification, unless otherwise required by law.
Information is retained for an approximate duration of 90 days to 2 years after termination of an account, or for as long as is needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as detailed in this policy. Some information may be retained for longer periods for reasons relating to record-keeping and reporting in accordance with applicable law, or for other legitimate reasons such as law enforcement actions, enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etcetera. Residual anonymous information and aggregate information, neither of which identifies an individual, may be stored indefinitely.
Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access and rectify or erase your personal data, or obtain a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to the active processing of your data, withdraw any consent you provided to process your data, a right to lodge a complaint with a statutory authority, and such other rights as may be relevant under applicable laws.
To exercise these rights within our services, you can complete the Privacy Request form to have your information either exported or removed from the services. Should you opt to have your information removed, this will be interpreted as to completely purge your information, including any account information. When processed, your information will be permanently removed without the possibility of recovering it.
After your privacy request has been submitted, please allow up to 7 business days for the request to be completed, which starts from the date of submission. The privacy request system will send you an email confirmation with the information you submitted. Requests can only be processed for accounts or data directly hosted on SKYNET2. If your information exists on third-party platforms, you must submit requests through those providers directly.
Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the operation of the service in order to enable you to move around the service and use it's features, such as accessing secure areas, authenticating users, and preventing fraudulent use of user accounts. Each of the above cookies are utilized for the individual user, on a per-session basis. The usage is generally mandatory, and the cookies expire upon termination of the session.

The services use a reasonable level of security to prevent the loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration of your information that is under SKYNET2.net's control. However, given the inherent risks of use, there are no guarantees, and consequently, the services cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to the services, which you do so at your own risk.
We employ encryption whenever/wherever possible, role-based access for administration and apply regular updates to underlying software and platforms. Despite our best efforts, vulnerabilities may still exist.
The service may contain links to other websites and services that are not operated by SKYNET2.net. This privacy policy does not address the privacy policies and other practices of these third parties, including any service or platform that may be accessible via a link on our services. It's strongly advised that you review the privacy policies of every site you visit. The service has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party site or service.
The services provided by SKYNET2 are intended for use only by legal adults (18 years of age or older). By creating an account or accessing the services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If it is discovered that an account has been created or information submitted by a minor, that account and associated data will be permanently removed.
Parents or legal guardians who believe that a minor has provided information through the services may submit a removal request through the Privacy Request system. Upon verification, all such information will be deleted promptly.
SKYNET2 is not liable for any false representations of age made during registration or access. Continued use of the services constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these eligibility requirements.
